Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 12, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how 36 Enterprises, LLC (“HostLink,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the HostLink service, including hostlink.live and any related apps or subdomains (the “Service”).
1. Who this policy covers
HostLink is a tool for short-term rental hosts to publish a digital guest guide and receive live video calls from their guests. This policy covers two audiences:
- Hosts — people who create an account to publish guide content.
- Guests — visitors who view a host's public guide or start a live call.
2. Information we collect
From hosts
- Account info: name, email, avatar, and authentication identifiers.
- Property content you upload: photos, videos, cover images, text, addresses, and Wi-Fi/access details.
- Billing information you provide to our payment processor (we do not store full card numbers).
- Usage data: pages visited, actions taken, device and browser info, IP address, and diagnostic logs.
From guests
- The public guide loads without an account. We log basic request data (IP address, user agent, referrer) for security and analytics.
- If a guest starts a live call, we process camera/microphone streams and connection metadata solely to route the call. Calls are not recorded by HostLink.
- Optional inputs a guest provides (e.g. their name when joining a call, feedback) are shared with the host who published the guide.
3. How we use information
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
- Authenticate hosts and secure the platform.
- Deliver guide content and route live calls between guests and hosts.
- Send transactional emails (account, billing, guest activity).
- Analyze aggregated usage to improve reliability and features.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
4. Guest-facing content is controlled by the host
Content displayed on a host's public guide (photos, videos, addresses, notes) is chosen and published by that host. The host is the “data controller” for information they collect about their guests. HostLink acts as a processor for that content. If you are a guest and want content removed, contact the host first; if that isn't possible, contact us at 36enterprises@gmail.com and we will assist.
5. Video and media hosting
Videos and images uploaded to HostLink are stored with our infrastructure providers (including Cloudflare and Supabase). Video is delivered via Cloudflare Stream. We do not sell your media, and we do not use guest-facing content to train AI models.
6. Sharing information
We share information only as needed to operate the Service:
- Service providers — hosting, storage, email delivery, analytics, video streaming, and payment processing (e.g. Supabase, Cloudflare, Mailgun, Stripe/Paddle, PostHog-class analytics).
- Legal — when required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of HostLink, our users, or others.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
We do not sell personal information.
7. Paid plans and billing
If you subscribe to a paid plan, our payment processor collects the information needed to complete the transaction. We receive limited details such as the last four digits of your card, billing country, and subscription status. Refer to the payment processor's own privacy policy for how they handle your data.
8. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, preferences, and basic analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect Service functionality.
9. Data retention
We keep account and content data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You can delete properties, topics, and media from the dashboard. You can request full account deletion by emailing 36enterprises@gmail.com. We may retain limited records as required for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and row-level security on our database. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. California residents have specific rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of “sharing” of personal information (we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising). To exercise any right, email 36enterprises@gmail.com.
12. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child provided us information, contact 36enterprises@gmail.com and we will delete it.
13. International users
HostLink is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., you understand that your information will be processed in the U.S. and other countries where our providers operate.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced via the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
